In this lonely world there is no light
That shines through darkness and pierces the night.
There are only shadows creeping on the wall...
You're on the edge of an abyss about to fall.
You teeter back and forth, your eyes so blind,
And wonder if there's anyone left who's kind.
Your heart aches and thumps loudly in your chest,
And now you know that it's all for the best.
Leaning forward you spread your arms,
Your pulse beating quickly with silent alarms.
Falling, falling... it all comes to an end...
There's just one more message you wish to send,
A note to your loved ones and so-called friends,
That every good thing eventually ends.
Some last a long time, shining brightly...
While others end in something horribly frightening.
But even so on this final day
You need to shout... you need to say:
